TYPES OF SURVEYS

Choose a survey based on the condition of the property itself, not the cost of the survey. Money spent on a decent survey can save you a fortune in the future and help you avoid expensive surprises after you have moved in.

A health check on your new property will flag up any major issues and enable you to make an informed decision about whether to proceed, and at what price. The survey will also give you peace of mind and enable you to budget for the future costs of ownership.

Home Condition Survey

Home Condition Survey (HCS) is a survey that is suitable for all property types as it includes a full inspection and a comprehensive report.

HomeBuyer Survey

HomeBuyer Survey – is a survey suitable for conventional properties in reasonable condition.
This will help you find out if there are any structural problems, such as subsidence or damp, as well as any other unwelcome hidden issues inside and outside.

Building Survey

Building Survey (often referred to as a Full or Structural Survey) is the highest level of non-invasive survey that surveyors usually carry out during the home-buying process. It is suitable for all properties but is often most applicable for older or more unusual properties, or properties where problems are suspected.

Buy-To-Let Survey

Buy-To-Let Survey – You get all the features of the Home Condition Survey, plus A review of the 29 potential hazard profiles listed under the Housing Health & Safety Rating System (used by local authorities to prosecute landlords in the Private Rented Sector).

Other Services

If you are a landlord, we can undertake a stock condition survey of your stock, collecting information relating to the Government’s Decent Home Standard, and about the property in general. This can be used to identify and programme future cyclical/refurbishment works.
